Prudence spent years trying on various professions until she finally found one that allows creativity, unusual working hours, occasional travel and continual discovery and exploration of new subjects when the old ones grow tiresome.
She moved to the bright lights of up-all-night New York to get properly schooled in journalism and spent a decade working in the ink-stained trenches. Proud Southerner, she clung to her accent and NASCAR for solace during the New York years. Resilient libertarian conservative, she held her own when hauled out as the unique rube-y specimen at intellectual events, media gatherings and bar disputes.
She now resides back in the land of sweet tea, pursuing her interests in politics, media analysis, philosophy, film, cookery and procrastination.
Likes: a rousing exchange of political ideas, cats, words, music of all kinds
Dislikes: those who stay mad after a political disagreement, snobbery, hypodermic needles, Shepard Smith
